Siusi

Siusi allo Sciliar (German Seis am Schlern) is located at 1000 meters of altitude and in the last centuries it was the favourite Italy mountain resort of many VIPs: Arturo Toscanini, Max Valier and Sigurd Ibsen, the only son of Henrik Ibsen, the famous Norwegian playwright. Siusi is included in the Sciliar natural park, offering many species of rare animals and flowers. Here it’s possible to hike, cycle and ride a horse in summer, while in winter it’s possible to sledge, take part into ski tours or snowshoe hiking tours in the Dolomites, and so on. The most suggestive tours are the ones on horse-pulled sledges in the moonlight!
